The (PRODUCT)RED U-Mask will support the Global Fund’s COVID-19 Response.
It has been an exciting few weeks in the U-Earth office and today is no different as we welcome (RED) into the U-Community. In light of the current COVID-19 threat, (RED) is working closely with the Global Fund to help protect (RED)-funded HIV/AIDS programs and U-Earth were only too happy to help in raising awareness, funding and resources for the fight.
Through the campaign titled ‘COVE(RED)’, U-Earth will donate 19% of the purchase price of each (PRODUCT)RED U-Mask to the Global Fund in support of critical HIV/AIDS programs and its COVID-19 Response, with a minimum donation of $50,000.
(RED) has generated $650 million for the Global Fund to support AIDS/HIV grants in sub-Saharan Africa, impacting the lives of 180 million people. However, the impact of COVID-19 could cause AIDS-related deaths to double in the coming year as health and community systems are overwhelmed, treatment and prevention programs are disrupted, and resources are diverted.
As with all of our U-Mask Model Two range, the (U)Red cover is anti-proliferative, self-sanitizing and made from regenerated nylon, which is 100% recyclable and made from ocean and landfill waste. The refill filter features the Bio-Layer™️, which not only captures air contaminants but destroys them within the mask. The filter is good for up to 200 hours of effective use.
